The Opportunity

The Senior Analyst, Centralized Testing will support in the development, implementation and maintenance of the Compliance and Operational Risk Testing Program that includes testing and reporting in accordance with regulatory expectations. This position will require analysis of moderate to complex regulations, business processes, procedures and controls for execution of testing techniques as assigned.

This role will report to the office three times a week, and work from home two times a week.

The Work Itself

  • Responsible for the development of test scripts and test methodology in support of test procedures and regulatory requirements applicable to the business line.
  • Execute predefined testing techniques to a sample of data, controls, events or transactions and captures results for communication to interested parties (compliance, line of business, auditors, examiners).
  • Lead walkthrough meetings with business line and compliance partners to understand processes and identify risks.
  • Partner with compliance staff on the identification of business line controls and lead the execution of testing compliance and operational risk s and controls with pre-defined testing techniques.
  • Lead discussions with support partners and business unit management to communicate compliance testing scope, objective and associated regulatory risk identified.
  • Prepare test workpapers, report and if applicable, the Issue Rating Matrix and Compliance Corrective Action Form.
  • Upload test workpaper, supporting documentation and final report as required and update all appropriate reporting systems.
  • Participate in timely responses to regulatory exams and internal audits.
  • Assist in preparation of Compliance related management reports and identify data execution needs for testing, as applicable.
  • Train/mentor compliance staff in areas of subject matter expertise.
  • Keep abreast of relevant changes in laws, rules or regulations that impact the financial services industry.

The Skills You Bring

  • 3+ years’ experience in compliance, testing and monitoring, financial controls/SOX, audit or risk management including documenting test results and workpapers and communicating test results (Archer preferred)

  • Knowledge of common risk management framework and methodologies.

  • Proficient at issue identification, problem-solving/troubleshooting and issue escalation.
  • Ability to support multiple assignments and stakeholders and to self- prioritize workload and coordinate with teammates to meet deadlines.
  • Conflict management skills and/or demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations with clients or teammates.
  • High level of personal integrity, with the ability to handle confidential and otherwise sensitive matters professionally and with appropriate level of judgement and maturity.
  • Team-oriented and skilled in working in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to interpret and understand laws and regulations, research and identify requirements and related controls and assist in developing transaction test scripts.
  • Successful candidates must demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and a desire to perform in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
  • High-level of written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across business levels (both vertically and horizontally).
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes, systems and controls
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel (intermediate), Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment.

Base Pay Range:

Emerging: 70000

Experienced: 95000

Expert: 120000

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
