The Opportunity

Location: in-office in Lewisville, TX

Top 3 things we're looking for: 1 - excel & report building experience, ie: x-look up, graphs 2 - able to do PowerPoint Presentations to senior leaders as needed, & 3 - oversight of a vendor previous experience

If you enjoy solving problems, rolling up your sleeves and performing detailed analysis, while engaging with cross functional teams to ‘Do it Right’, this may be the right opportunity for you. This role (Associate Analyst - Supplier Management) will be focused on process improvement, project management, and supplier management. Typical responsibilities include (but are not limited too): * Supplier oversight (onboarding, training, quality, compliance coaching, complaint escalation) * Account level review & research * Ideation and implementation of process improvements * Implementation of projects as assigned by management * Manage processes associated with supplier performance management * Continuous monitoring of third-party service providers * Weekly & Monthly performance presentations for suppliers or business

The Work Itself

  • Represent Ally in communications with internal and external teams.
  • Support the Business Units in consistency, guidance and direction in matters concerning the interpretation and application of Ally policies, standards, business continuity planning, best practices and, tools and projects.
  • Assist in conducting annual reviews for changes to business operations, structure, risk profile, personnel changes and geographical location in addition to continuous strategic updates to processes and procedures.
  • May review any compliance/cost issues related to supplier.
  • May assist in developing/refining appropriate metrics to measure supplier performance.
  • May have to do supplier due diligence & termination.
  • On-site visits to suppliers as needed/requested by management
  • Support the implementation of a formal Business Process Testing to ensure that specific objectives align with the requirements defined in the Ally Policy.
  • Delivers continuously improving year-on-year expense results and performance lift by improving processes and increasing productivity.
  • Builds solid peer-to-peer relationships in a team environment to meet operational needs.
  • Communicates effectively and clearly on a daily, weekly, monthly basis with vendors to provide exceptional customer service regarding routine and escalated requests.
  • Supports rigorous quality, control and compliance programs to include an ongoing control/compliance self-assessment process.
  • Performs data entry, system coding, inventory audits, reconciliations, etc. to ensure alignment between vendor systems and Ally systems.
  • Responds promptly to vendor requests (information, data, letter generation, etc.) as needed. Expert data entry and word processing skills.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills sufficient to provide information, greet visitors, answer inquiries, and refer calls.
  • Computer skills sufficient to operate on-line system and complex software or develop formulas for moderately sophisticated spreadsheets.
  • Ability to exercise judgment to research and solve operational problems where the answer is not apparent.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred
  • 2+ years in customer service or financial services industry is required.
  • 2+ years of Recovery Industry knowledge and or financial services industry knowledge.
  • Project / Process Management framework knowledge and application is a preferred.
